About Us
Jodi Epstein
As a yoga, mindfulness, and movement teacher for more than a decade, Jodi is passionate about the body-mind-breath connection and how yoga and meditation practices can have a positive impact on health, posture, and mental well-being. Her classes include creative sequencing with a focus on finding a sense of ease in the midst of movement, and her private sessions and mentorship offerings are personalized with functional stretches and strengthening that help her students to find a yoga practice that fits their bodies.
Jodi attributes her earlier training in the Linklater and Alexander techniques as her introduction to the connection between body and mind and credits these teachings with the ability to guide large classes and workshops. She received her 200 hour certification from Sonic Yoga and her Mat Pilates certification from the Kelly Kaine Kinected School of Pilates. Jodi has also completed meditation trainings with Ishta Yoga and Tara Brach, Yoga Nidra workshops with Rod Stryker, A Pelvic Health Mentorship, and Prenatal Yoga with Juliana Mitchell, and is an interdisciplinary pelvic health specialist trained by PT Isa Herrera. Jodi has served on the faculty of the Living Now Yoga 300 Hour teacher training, co-leads sold-out seasonal workshops with Mindful Wilderness, and hosts core training and yoga for Pelvic Health Workshops throughout the year.
For in-person classes, you can find her at Yoga Agora.
